(November 2013) Foundation 4Life donated $50,000 to the Guadalupe School in Salt Lake City, Utah, an educational center that teaches economically disadvantaged children and non-English speaking adults. Foundation 4Life has supported the school for the past few years, and the school’s early childhood education program for the last two years. Foundation 4Life was given naming rights on one of the preschool classrooms at the new school as a result of its donation. Special gold shovels were used to break ground on the school’s new 50,000 square foot building. The new school is slated to open in Fall 2014 and will increase the enrollment capabilities and allow the school to centralize all of their five programs under one roof. 4Life representatives at the groundbreaking included President and CEO Steve Tew, Vice President of Legal Affairs Kathryn Olsen, 4Life Service Director Tracie Kay, and 4Life Service Coordinator Jenna Lisonbee. The new building will bring new prospects and new hope for precious children. “I am very grateful for our partnership with Foundation 4Life. The kids have benefitted from 4Life’s involvement and your ongoing support is invaluable,” said Guadalupe School Executive Director Victoria M. Mori.
