Miami, Florida -Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center

October 2013 - Miami Beach. You may be thinking glitz and glamour, so how could there possibly be low- income families in this community? Tucked away in the apartment complexes and back streets of this small island are a large population of service workers. They clean houses, valet park cars, work as security guards and nannies and scrape by each month on minimum wages as a sacrifice to provide the best education they can for their children. The Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center is where many of these low-income children are privileged to spend their school days. Foundation 4Life was honored to join local distributors and provide 200 children at this school with a new backpack and school supplies to start their new year off right!
