(August 2014) After 12 years of planning and fundraising, the new Guadalupe Elementary School in Salt Lake City, Utah was finally opened on August 28, 2014. This school is a dream come true for school directors, parents, and teachers who see the school as a second home. The emotional ribbon-cutting ceremony honored all of the donors who made this achievement possible. The entire school was built with donations. Dedicated to the success of its students, Guadalupe School helps individuals and families make connections and discover better opportunities in a safe and happy environment. The school includes five programs to help families break out of poverty: In-home Program for children 0–2 years, Toddler Beginnings, Preschool, Charter Elementary School, and Adult Education. The school also has a special education program to help children and adults with disabilities gain learning opportunities and reach their highest potential.
