(May 2014) The 4Life team made a return visit to the SOS Children’s Center built by Foundation 4Life in 2013 in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Two hundred community children under the age of 15 use the center each week for additional educational opportunities. The center holds a library full of new books that children can check out and a computer room where they can improve their technology skills. The children come to the center after school once per week to enhance their reading and improve their English. The center is run by volunteer high school and college students who want to improve the future of children in their community and keep them away from local gangs. In addition to bringing donations of school supplies and nutritious food for the children, the 4Life group was also able to meet with some of the families whose children benefit from the center’s services.
