(December 2013) Foundation 4Life donated 200 sweatshirts to the TLC Family Resource Center, part of the Downey Unified School district that receives support through the Foundation 4Life US education program. The children come from low-income families who work with the TLC Family Resource Center to find lodging. Also during December, 4Life distributors, led by Gold International Diamonds Renaldo and Lymari Sánchez and Byron and Analia López, participated in the district’s Adopt-a-Family program. 4Life leaders and team members purchased, wrapped, and delivered gifts that were requested by three single-parent families. The families were thrilled to receive much-needed gifts during the holiday season. The families served during these two service projects are still benefitting from the donations made during the 2013 holiday season. Healthy Start Assistant Lori Roman expressed her thanks on behalf of all of the families, saying, “They were very appreciative of everything they received.”
