Building a Difference

Phayathai Babies’ Home in Bangkok, Thailand is a temporary shelter that focuses specifically on children under five years old who were abandoned in hospitals or public places, have come from poverty-stricken families or broken homes, or were existing in unsuitable living conditions. The organization cares for the children while working to find their family or arrange for a new permanent family. Phayathai Babies’ Home provides for their immediate health and dietary needs, employs specialists to help the children develop their intellectual skills, and helps prepare them for a future life outside the home. In November 2009, 4Life Thailand distributors and executives organized and paid for a special lunch for the children. They also made a donation of 9,500 Baht to the shelter, along with toys, clothes, and school supplies for the children. 4Life Thailand has pledged ongoing support for the organization, with future donations and activities planned.
